Nazi war criminals were executed primarily from 1944 - 1946 for a variety of crimes by the Allied Powers. The most common method was by hanging although some were executed by firing squad. It is interesting to note that the majority of war criminals were arrested, indicted, duly tried and executed in a little more than 12 months. In contrast to WWII, justice has yet to be rendered to those interned at Gitmo. Justice delayed is justice denied! I have added the WWII German national anthem as the score. Its purpose is not to glorify these criminals but rather to vilify them. The point is "you live by the sword, you die by the sword." You supported the regime then suffer the consequences of your actions!

National Archives (NARA) misc rolls of film processed by the U.S. Army Signal Coprs circa 1944 - 1946. All remain in public domain. Musical score: "Duetschlandlied" and "Horst-Wessel-Lied" were pre-1945 recorded and are in public domain.
